• You are logged in to the driver app, and
• You are online / on duty and have active trips or an active driver session.

You can change location permissions at any time in your device settings, but some features of the app (including trip tracking and duty slip generation) may not work correctly without location access.

5. Legal Basis and User Consent

Where required by law, we rely on your explicit consent to process location and other personal data. In the app, we:

• Show an in-app prominent disclosure explaining how and why location is used, including background usage.
• Request location permissions via the Android runtime permission dialog.
